The Cleveland Browns released former Maryland kicker Brad Craddock on Wednesday, leaving the 2014 Lou Groza Award winner on the search for another home to begin his professional career.
The move came after the Browns claimed Jaden Oberkrom, a fellow rookie kicker out of Texas Christian, from Jacksonville.
Craddock had officially signed with Cleveland on May 13 after he went undrafted earlier this month in the NFL draft.
Craddock's Maryland career came to an untimely end last fall when he suffered a season-ending wrist injury in the Terps' loss to Wisconsin on Nov.
