Brenda Frese gets 400th win in Terps' victory over Detroit

COLLEGE PARK — Maryland coach Brenda Frese earned her 400th career win as the No. 8 Terrapins cruised to a 97-41 victory over Detroit on Friday.

Freshman Kiah Gillespie had 18 points to lead the Terrapins (3-0), who have won their first three games of the season by an average of 50 points.

Brene Moseley had 13 points and 10 assists and Kristen Confroy added 12 points for Maryland, which had six players score in double figures.

Rosanna Reynolds scored 15 points and Nicole Urbanick added 10 for Detroit (0-3), which became the first team this season to hold Maryland to fewer than 100 points.
