Maryland men’s and women’s lacrosse both had successful weeks, and multiple individual players were recognized for standout performances in those victories.
On the men’s side, senior Connor Kelly and freshman Bubba Fairman won Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week, respectively, for the top-ranked Terps. Kelly had four goals and four assists in Maryland’s 11-10 win over then-No. 8 Rutgers, recording a point on the Terps’ first five and last three scores. It’s the third time Kelly has won the award this season, having previously won the award on Feb. 20 and March 6.
