For Maryland football to have a breakthrough 2017 recruiting class, the Terps probably have to make a dent at local powerhouse DeMatha Catholic. The Hyattsville school has three of the state's top four prospects, and because recruiting is a world that never rests, DJ Durkin and his staff are already hard at work wooing them:
Four-star running back Anthony McFarland and four-star end Chase Young are both on campus on Saturday. They're the two best players in the state and would, together, be a massive recruiting haul.
(I'm not sure if four-star DeMatha tackle Marcus Minor is joining them, though that would make sense.
