Arkansas State offensive coordinator Walt Bell is set to take over the same position with the Maryland football team, according to a report from Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman and multiple other outlets.
Mike Locksley, the Terrapins’ offensive coordinator and interim head coach last season, has been offered an unspecified position on Durkin’s staff, a person with knowledge of the situation said Saturday night. It was not immediately known if Locksley would accept the offer.
The hiring of the 31-year-old Bell, which has yet to be confirmed by the school, is the latest addition to the staff made by DJ Durkin.
