Before Mark Turgeon allowed Rasheed Sulaimon to transfer from Duke to Maryland last May, he checked with each of his players to endorse the move. It was a unanimous decision. Sulaimon has been quickly accepted in College Park, not only for his skill-set but also because he’s established himself as a serious student of the game who is willing to help mentor a roster full of NBA talent.
That includes freshman center Diamond Stone, who carried a giggling Sulaimon on his shoulders to the team’s official picture at the Xfinity Center on Tuesday afternoon.
