Four-star wide receiver Deajaun McDougle announced his commitment to Maryland football at a ceremony Tuesday evening.
The 5’10, 175-pound native of Deerfield Beach, Florida, is listed by 247Sports as the No. 32 wide receiver, No. 32 prospect in Florida and a top-200 prospect overall in the Class of 2020. The industry-generated 247Sports Composite (which hasn’t been updated as recently) has McDougle as a three-star prospect and the third-highest rated Maryland commit.
McDougle utilizes his quick release and good footwork to blaze past defenders and often creates space to make catches. He has a keen sense of soft spots in zone defenses as well, and he can be dangerous with the ball in space.
