Maryland football landed its first commitment of the 2025 class Saturday when four-star cornerback Jett White chose the Terps following his showing in the All-American Bowl.
White was previously committed to USC, but backed off his pledge in January of last year. He is originally from Orange High School in Orange, California.
Currently in his junior year at Edison High School in Miami, White is ranked as the No. 36 cornerback and No. 275 overall prospect in his class, per the 247Sports Composite.
Listed at 6-foot-2, he fielded offers from more than 40 schools, including Louisville, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, and Georgia among others.
