Maryland football landed its sixth four-star recruit in the class of 2025 Saturday, when athlete Messiah Delhomme committed to the Terps.
Listed at 6-foot-1 and 196 pounds, Delhomme attends Warwick High School in Newport News, Va., where he plays wide receiver and safety. He is the No. 192-ranked player in his class and the No. 5-ranked player from Virginia, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Delhomme chose Maryland over Ohio State, Virginia and Virginia Tech. He also received offers from Alabama, Auburn and Michigan.
He is the second-highest ranked player in Maryland’s 2025 recruiting class and joins fellow four-stars Jaylen Gilchrist (IOL), Malik Washington (QB), Iverson Howard (RB), Zymear Smith (ATH) and Bryce Jenkins (DL) in one of Maryland’s best recruiting classes in years.
