Local running back prospect Colby McDonald signed with Maryland football Wednesday, making things official after committing to the program on May 15.
At 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, McDonald has both the agility and power to make some noise for the Terrapins. The Washington, D.C. native played high school ball at St. John’s for the Cadets and is ranked as the No. 74 running back in the nation, according to the 24/7 Sports Composite.
He joins high school teammates running back Antwain Littleton and defensive tackle Taizse Johnson in the Terrapins’ 2021 recruiting class.
