Three-star offensive lineman Marcus Finger flipped his commitment from UCF to Maryland on Monday after picking up an offer while visiting this past weekend.
The 6’6, 296-pound Wisconsin native is ranked as the 260th-best player out of Florida, where he attends Fort Myers High School, causing him to go under the radar. He was recruited but not offered by Miami, leaving his best offers as UCF and South Florida. Finger had been committed to the Knights since June.
Finger’s size mismatch was utilized mostly as a pulling lineman in high school. Having this experience and size could prove to be useful in helping Maryland’s rushing attack become even more effective under new head coach Mike Locksley.
