Maryland men's basketball has had two members in its 2019 recruiting class since August 2017. The Terps picked up a third on Wednesday, as three-star forward Donta Scott announced his commitment, per multiple reports.
Scott made his announcement during an assembly at his high school, choosing Maryland over South Carolina, LaSalle, Temple and Seton Hall. With the Philadelphia native on board, the Terps once again have a top-25 class, clocking in at No. 17.
His commitment comes during a cycle clearly focused on the frontcourt. Scott is ranked the No. 36 small forward and No. 141 in the class.
