Three-star defensive end ZionAngelo Shockley signed his National Letter of Intent Wednesday morning, officially joining Maryland football after committing back in February.
Shockley is ranked as the No. 38 weak-side defensive end in the country and the No. 20 player out of Maryland, with a rating of 0.8696, per the 24/7 Sports Composite. He chose the Terps over offers from Tennessee, West Virginia, Arizona State and Nebraska, among others.
“[The staff] doesn’t just care about football, they care about you outside of football, your degree, what you do after college,” Shockley told Testudo Times when he committed.
