Maryland football secured a verbal commitment from three-star cornerback Devyn King on Tuesday night.
The 5’11, 175-pound defensive back out of Gardena, California, is the No. 93 prospect in his state and No. 94 cornerback in the country, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. King was a relatively new interest for head coach Mike Locksley and his staff, as he received an offer on Feb. 1 and committed just over two months later. King was one of just two players out of California to receive an offer from Maryland.
King will bring all kinds of athleticism to College Park when he arrives in 2020.
