HUNTINGTON — Marshall, after being the only school in FBS not to play over the past two weeks, will open the season this Saturday at the Joan C. Edwards Stadium in Huntington, W.Va. at 6 p.m. against FCS and MEAC member Morgan State in a first meeting for the programs. The Bears of MSU fell to Holy Cross last weekend and come in 0-1.
Marshall has set the two-deep for the Thundering Herd, with three-deep at certain positions, for the home and season opening game. This will be both the 117th season opening game for the Herd and the 117th home opener in school history.
