Marshall Men’s and Women’s Track & Field performed well at the Virginia Tech Hokie Invitational indoor meet Friday, Jan. 24-25.
Sixteen personal bests and three season bests were recorded for the Herd over the weekend, including the current Women’s Sun Belt Track Athlete of the Week, Kylee Mastin, breaking the school record for the women’s 800-meter, recording a time of 2 minutes, 10.51 seconds, and the women’s 1000, recording a time 2:49.08.
“This weekend was another great opportunity to compete against high level competition,” Director Keith Roberts said. “Kylee Mastin and Micah Coates led the way with their school record performances.
