Two of the nation’s stingiest defenses will clash when the Connecticut Huskies take on the Marshall Thundering Heard in the 2015 St. Petersburg Bowl at Tropicana Field.
Connecticut finished the season at 6-6 to qualify for the postseason for the first time since its 2010 Fiesta Bowl appearance. The Huskies won three out of four to close out the regular season, including a 20-17 victory over AAC champion Houston.
