The Elmore brothers are reuniting on the basketball court, as Ot is coming to Marshall as a graduate transfer.
Ot Elmore, older brother of Thundering Herd point guard Jon Elmore, is coming back to West Virginia after two seasons at Texas-Rio Grande Valley. He is eligible immediately and will have two seasons left.
“I’m walking on this year and not sure after that,” Ot Elmore said Thursday.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Ot Elmore averaged 2.7 points in 14.7 minutes over 20 games at Rio Grande Valley. The Edinburgh, Texas-based Vaqueros of the Western Athletic Conference went 8-22 in their first season.
