Marshall’s Austin Loop, right, is closing in on Tamar Slay’s school record of 251 3-point shots made set during his Thundering Herd career from 1998 through 2002.
HUNTINGTON — When Ryan Taylor became Marshall’s 50th 1,000-point scorer last season, he continued one of the program’s proudest traditions.
And with at least 12 games left in his Thundering Herd career, he’s building a statistical legacy matched by few others who have worn the green and white. He is making a rapid climb up the top rungs of several categories.
When you combine those categories, you get a better sense of his place in MU history.
