HUNTINGTON — He was looking forward to his Marshall team preparing for Florida Atlantic, but coach Doc Holliday was still trying to make sense of the Thundering Herd’s loss last weekend at North Texas.
“I wish I could put one finger on … whether it be defense not playing well, offense not playing well, or special teams,” Holliday said Tuesday at his weekly press conference. “We’ve just got to get better overall as a team.”
Prodded by the usual round of questioning, Holliday broke down the Herd’s multiple downfalls, such as:
