HUNTINGTON — Ryan Taylor will not play Friday in Marshall’s basketball game at Ohio State, coach Dan D’Antoni said Tuesday on his radio show.
The suspension comes after Taylor’s ejection from the Thundering Herd’s 71-61 victory over Jackson State on Monday. The suspension was D’Antoni’s action, not that of Conference USA.
Earlier in the day, the league reviewed the circumstances of the ejection, but D’Antoni opted to take the disciplinary action.
“After speaking with him, I think Ryan understands what happened and why this is being done,” D’Antoni said.
