HUNTINGTON — After Marshall wrapped up its officiated scrimmage Saturday, three long weeks remained to the Sept. 10 season opener.
Much can happen in that stretch, but a number of positives emerged from the 76-play scrimmage, such as:
n Anthony Anderson showing the 250 or so Big Green Scholarship Foundation members and MU students who could be the boss of the backfield. He gained 67 yards on 14 carries, scoring three touchdowns.
On his first run, he pulled away from a single tackler and easily scored from 14 yards. He later scored from the 8, showing his agility, and bulled over from the 2.
