HUNTINGTON — In the radio business, we call it a tease — making a statement about something, only to say, “Stay tuned, the whole enchilada to come … after these messages” — assuring the listener will stay tuned to the next segment to come.
It would seem Marshall Coach Danny D’Antoni has been paying attention to being on the radio because, quite frankly, there was little nervousness about the Herd getting the win against visiting UTSA in a 92-71 Marshall win Thursday night at the Cam Henderson Center. But the coach cleared the bench, as no starter played more than 28 minutes in the win, a move that not only got some quality playing time for the Thundering Herd’s subs, but also insured the fans would have to come back on Saturday to see a record set for threes in a career.
