Marshall athletic training student receives 2016 NATA Foundation Scholarship

HUNTINGTON – Bethany Beuhring of the Marshall University College of Health Professions has received the 2016 National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Foundation Scholarship. She will be recognized during the Pinky Newell Scholarship and Leadership Breakfast at the NATA Convention in Baltimore Saturday, June 25.
Beuhring was one of 50 people chosen nationally to receive scholarships from the NATA, according to Dr. Joseph Beckett, director of the college’s athletic training program.
“Bethany Beuhring was the first recipient of the ‘Outstanding Athletic Training Major Award,’ which the undergraduate athletic training program started in 2015.
