The Marshall University men’s basketball team officially began practicing Tuesday in the Cam Henderson Center.
This is the first time the team will be practicing together since the coronavirus stopped all sports play back in March. The Herd was in the middle of competing for the Conference USA Championship title during the C-USA Basketball Tournament in Frisco, Texas when the remaining games were canceled.
The last game Marshall played was on March 11 against the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) during the C-USA Tournament in which the Herd won 86-78.
Marshall men’s basketball head coach Dan D’Antoni said the team has dealt with the uncertain times but have gotten better as a team.
