HUNTINGTON – Marshall Football will hit the field – finally – on Monday, August 6, and Coach Doc Holliday has once again opened the first two weeks of workouts to the Herd fans who are highly anticipating the start of fall camp, as they are following one of the last teams in the nation to start actual workouts due to the Herd’s open week during week one of games in FBS football.
Marshall will not open the season until Sept. 10 at home versus Morgan State from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (FCS, or I-AA for us old-timers), while FBS college football opens the season on Aug.
