HUNTINGTON — The senior season of defensive lineman Joe Massaquoi could well hinge on a move from end to tackle.
It isn’t the first time that’s happened in the Marshall football program and it won’t be the last. Even James Rouse, the outstanding nose tackle who finished his career last year, came to MU ticketed to play end.
So what had Massaquoi, the 6-foot-5 native of Alexandria, Virginia, lining up inside in Marshall’s first practice Tuesday?
Tackle seems to be Massaquoi’s best shot.
The unexpected development of Ryan Bee last year probably sealed Massaquoi’s fate.
