HUNTINGTON — With a 3-0 start to the season, Marshall will try to continue its uptick Monday night as the Thundering Herd welcomes Jackson State to Cam Henderson Center. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, the Herd dropped a 58-point second-half bomb on Western Carolina, running away with a 98-63 victory. It was a textbook example of MU hoops under coach Dan D’Antoni — rapid-fire passing, hot shooting, perfect pick-and-roll feeds, lights-out free-throw shooting.
“It was night and day between the first and second halves, both offensively and defensively,” said MU’s Austin Loop, who scored 17 points.
