Marshall basketball assistant coach Chris Duhon resigns following Saturday arrest

Marshall assistant basketball coach Chris Duhon has resigned following his Saturday arrest for driving while his license was revoked for driving under the influence. The university announced his resignation via news release Tuesday afternoon.

“As this is a personnel matter, the department will have no further comment,” the statement read.

Duhon, 34, was arrested by Hurricane police early Saturday on that charge. He was arrested Nov. 30, 2015, on an aggravated DUI charge, which comes into play when the blood-alcohol content exceeds .15. According to the 2015 police report, he was found parked in Eleanor, asleep, with the key in the ignition and the engine running.
