HUNTINGTON — Dallas Baker is a new figure to Marshall wide receivers, which is fitting. Most of the players in that room are new, or close to it.
Take Darian Owens and Marcel Williams, in their first semester in the Thundering Herd program. Or Tyre Brady, newly eligible after a season sitting out as a transfer. Or Hyleck Foster, a senior returning to receiver after a year and a half at running back.
With all three starters gone — one to graduation, two to pro aspirations — the wide receiving corps is a blank canvas. With Todd Goebbel shifted to quarterback coach, Aubrey Hill was brought on to replace him.
