The Marshall men’s soccer team got back to its winning ways on Tuesday night by defeating the East Tennessee State Bucs 4-1. Marshall’s offense continued its hot streak by netting four goals against the Bucs.
“Much better performance from us today,” Herd head coach Chris Grassie said. “Our possession game, especially from the back six payers, was very good. But everyone raised their level today.”
Not only did Marshall show another impressive offensive performance in this contest, but the defense was also back in form, allowing just one goal. The Herd had allowed six total goals in the prior two matches combined.
