NORFOLK, Va. — James Kelly buried a deep 3-point goal with 3.2 seconds left as Marshall downed Old Dominion 78-75 Saturday at Ted Constant Convocation Center.
Kelly finished with 21 points and 12 points for the Thundering Herd (10-10, 6-1 Conference USA), which took three of four games in a two-week road swing. The Herd overcame a 37-point effort by Trey Freeman, who nearly hit a long 3-pointer at the buzzer.
ODU dropped to 10-10, 3-4.
