State University in the Kanawha County superiority battle at UC Stadium/Laidley Field at 7 p.m. in a big Mountain East Conference game on many MetroNews stations, then WVU (2-0) will meet Big 12 candidate BYU (1-2) at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Landover, Md. on ESPN2 and (1-1) Marshall will host No. 3 Louisville (3-0) Saturday night on CBS Sports Network live from Huntington — there is no shortage of huge games Friday night when the state turns its attention to high school football.
