PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Four of Conference USA men’s basketball’s outstanding student-athletes are among the 64 top collegiate seniors selected to participate in the prestigious Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (P.I.T.) starting Wed., April 13, including the Herd’s Most Outstanding Player and winner of the Hal Greer Award at last week’s MU Hoops Banquet.
James Kelly of Marshall (playing at the P.I.T. for the Portsmouth Partnership team), Old Dominion’s Trey Freeman (also on the Portsmouth Partnership with Kelly), Adrian Diaz of FIU (playing for the Norfolk Sports Club), and Alex Hamilton of Louisiana Tech (playing for Mike Duman’s Auto Sales) have accepted an invitation to play in the 64th annual tournament in Portsmouth, Virginia.
