The Marshall University Volleyball Team finished the Marshall Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 2, with two close matches against Akron and Coppin State. Despite their efforts, the Herd fell 3-2 in both contests.
In the first match against Akron, Marshall battled hard but couldn’t overcome the Zips in the five-set contest, despite winning the second and third sets with scores of 25-18 and 25-10, respectively.
