EL PASO, Tx.—The Marshall track and field team completed its season on a high note Sunday at the Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by UTEP.
As a team, the Herd finished in seventh place with 43 points. This was the second highest finish ever for the team in both standings and points at the outdoor conference championships. The top finish ever was set in 2013 when Marshall finished fifth with 63 points. However, 2013 featured only 12 schools as opposed to 13 schools this year.
“Our kids had 24 lifetimes best performances,” Herd head coach Jeff Small said.
