IRVING, Texas – Marshall Softball was the best in Conference USA this year, and the post-season awards reflect the Herd dominance. C-USA announced the 2017 Softball All-Conference USA first and second team and postseason superlative awards, as selected by a nomination and vote by the league’s 12 head coaches. The Herd stayed at No. 23 in the USA Today/NFCA poll, moved up to tied for No. 24 in the ESPN/USA Softball poll and is No. 26 in the RPI headed into Wednesday’s Conference USA Softball Championships.
