HUNTINGTON — Marshall University Head Football Coach Doc Holliday, looking to rebuild and reload after a rare 3-9 season in 2016, will have 19 signees — nine of whom are already working out, as “mat drills” began this morning for the Thundering Herd players. Marshall, who lost all four starting wide receivers following the 2016 season, will reload with seven signed receivers, including a transfer from the University of Miami (Fla.).
“We’re extremely excited about the young men we have coming in,” Holliday said. “We had needs. We felt we met those needs and are eager to get them started in our program.
