HUNTINGTON — The Marshall offense did not have a good day on last Friday, the first day of pads. When the Herd returned to the field on Saturday morning, the offense was very excited to get back at the defense and did so with a resounding win.
So when the offense under-performed a bit on Monday, some of the leaders of that side of the ball stepped up and talked about bringing the best effort on every day. Tuesday morning the offense was hyped up, had some big plays from back in their own territory and the defense spent the last part of practice doing up-downs and hearing from defensive coordinator Chuck Heater.
