HUNTINGTON – James Kelly, who played one really great season for Marshall, was named the winner of the Hal Greer “Most Outstanding Player” Award on Friday night at the Marshall men’s basketball End-of-Year Awards Reception. The 6-foot-8 senior forward, a native of Ann Arbor, Mich. and transfer from Miami-Fla., was one of five Herd players to earn special awards following MU Coach DannyD’Antoni’s second season at his alma mater.
About 200 people attended the reception, held at the 21 @ The Frederick, in the penthouse of the Frederick Building at Fourth Avenue and Tenth Street in downtown Huntington.
