Jackson, Ohio —
About 3:40 p.m. on Friday, Cooper (age 22) of Ray, Ohio, had her car struck when another driver didn’t yield as she pulled out of a driveway on U.S. Route 35, near Bronx Corner Road. The impacted forced Cooper’s car through the median and into the westbound lane, where Cooper hit another car head on, and a fourth car then struck the car she hit as it was also traveling westbound.
Cooper was taken to the nearby Holzer Hospital in Jackson, then flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus where she died our her injuries.
