HUNTINGTON — In what will be a long, drawn out season in 2016, College Football at its highest level — FBS, or Football Bowl subdivision — will start on a Friday, August 26 with the Golden Bears of Cal playing the Hawaii Warriors in Sydney, Australia. The college football year will not finish until the College Football Playoff Championship game on Monday, Jan. 9, in Tampa, Florida.
For the 135 days in-between those two dates to open and close the season, many great games are scheduled right from the start of the season. Here are some of the games Herd fans can watch while they wait an extra week for the Thundering Herd of Marshall to open the season on Sept.
