IRVING, Texas – Marshall running back Christopher L. “Chris” Parker is one of 173 former college football players nominated to the 2018 College Football Hall of Fame ballot. Parker, who played for the Herd from 1992-95, is Marshall’s all-time leading rusher, leading scorer, the leader in all-purpose yards and multiple All-American, rushing for more than 100 yards 31 times in his career – more than any other Marshall back.
Parker rushed 1,110 times for 5,931 yards (5.3 yards per carry). He had 68 rush touchdowns, 71 total touchdowns, 7,145 all-purpose yards (rush, recv., and kickoff returns).
