2016 Marshall Football Schedule released

HUNTINGTON – The Marshall University 2016 Football Schedule is out, thanks to FBSSchedules.com, who had the Conference USA team-by-team schedules before it was released by the league or by Marshall officials.

The Herd will host seven games in Huntington, the highest total since joining FBS in 1997 and highest since the Herd had seven regular season games and hosted four more in the I-AA playoffs as the 15-0 National Champions. The times are yet to be set, along with television.

Marshall will skip the opening weekend of college football, instead starting play with FBS member Morgan State, who was 5-6 last year, 4-4 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC).
