30 games of nationally televised goodness getting piped straight into your brain pan on this fine Saturday. That’s some good broadcasting. And think! There’d be even more hoops on TV if it wasn’t for ESPN’s NFL contract granting them the rights to one playoff game every year.
Lousy NFL, ruining everything.
We’ve got 12 games with at least one ranked team participating, which is pretty solid. Four of those games involve two ranked teams, and that’s pretty great. The first one of the day is North Carolina making the trek north to tangle with Virginia, and even though those are two top 15 teams, that’s not the best game of the day.
