Somehow, even though most of the Big 12 is ranked right now and the SEC is experiencing something of an up year, we’re getting no games between two ranked teams as a part of today’s Big 12/SEC Challenge.
This is not due to lack of trying, though. Kentucky is in Morgantown to play West Virginia, and this was supposed to be the main event of the day. Not only is it the last game of the day in the crossover between the two leagues, but Kentucky just this past Monday slipped out of the top 25 for the first time since 2014.
