Welcome to the Marquette men’s basketball career made three-pointers top 10 list.
For the 2019-20 season, we’re going to be focusing on Markus Howard and his path to break Steve Novak’s record of 354 triples in his four year career. Howard ended the 2018-19 season with 313 made three-pointers after putting in a career best 120 of them as a junior.
Those of you that can do math quickly in your head have figured out that Howard needs just 33 more three-pointers to break Novak’s record. You’ve also deduced that 33 is much less than 120, and even much less than 82, which is the number of triples that Howard sank during his freshman season.
