Last week, Marquette women’s basketball earned seven points in the Associated Press’ top 25 polling. They followed that up getting their seven game winning streak snapped by a 21 point loss on the road to a struggling Georgetown team, and then, 36 hours later, a relatively confident 10 point win at Villanova against a pretty good Wildcats squad.
This week, Marquette has eight points in the AP poll.
Again: lost by 21, got one more point than the week before.
