Providence, R.I. — When Marquette takes on No. 8 Providence at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, each team will be focused on stopping two specific players.
The Golden Eagles will need to stifle preseason All-American point guard Kris Dunn, a 6-foot-4 junior that's a projected NBA lottery pick, as well as his high-scoring sidekick, 6-foot-9 sophomore forward Ben Bentil. The Friars will need to limit Marquette's frontcourt of freshman forward Henry Ellenson, also considered a lottery pick, and junior center Luke Fischer.
One major difference for the two squads, though, is that no one has been able to stop Dunn and Bentil, who have led the Friars to a 14-1 record.
