Four goals each from Grace Gabriel and Megan Menzuber led the day for Marquette women’s lacrosse on Saturday, as they picked up a 17-7 victory over Old Dominion. It was the first ever meeting between the two programs, and Marquette is now 8-7 on the year and 2-1 in Big East play.
If you’re a big fan of run of play goals in women’s lacrosse, you absolutely hated how the first 17 minutes of this game played out. The first six combined goals of the game all came on free position shots, with Marquette ripping off five straight after Old Dominion found the back of the net first.
